Design new methods for engaging adolescents in questions about our mobility future.

An interactive experience was needed that challenged old ways of communicating with adolescents, thereby engaging them in involvement of plans for the future.

The Speculative Gaming probe. A digital platform tool in which participants could build their vision of a future mobility city.

Learnings
Methods are not only to be adapted to situations, but rather designed with care that matches the preferences of people. Meeting people in a medium that suits their everyday life might work as a great tool for communication and reflection. Be aware, one method might not suit everyone. See the methods and tools as one alternative in a larger set.

Reflection
Methods are in many ways experiences and should be designed with just as much care as the design of digital artefacts, products and services.
