In order to gain true insights there is a need to get an understanding of the broader picture. A complex ecosystem might include a wide variety of actors with roles that are dynamic. In addition, learning opportunities should be included as guidance for people whatever role they possess at the specific time.

A great way to start getting to know a field can be to map out the current experience. This might help us in enhancing the use of prototypes by understanding what is the actual problem in customer journeys and information architecture.
